Rays Power Infra Pvt. Ltd has announced commissioning of its 78 megawatt (MW) solar PV project in Tehsil-Bhagwanpur in Uttarakhand.
The 78 MW project comes under Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency’s (UREDA) competitive bidding for 2015-16. It will supply energy to the power hungry industrial areas of Bhagwanpur and Roorkee in the state.
In a statement, the company said the project execution work started in the last week of November 2016 and was executed by Rays Power Infra on turnkey basis – from land acquisition to commissioning.
“It was my vision to develop and construct the largest solar project in the state of Uttarakhand, the largest in the state so far. We have achieved this successfully, adding another remarkable milestone to Rays’ list of executed projects,” Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rays Power Infra, Ketan Mehta, said.
