Projects in AP, Maharashtra go for Centre’s clearance

Projects proposed in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra are being taken up for consideration by the Union Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

In a press release, the ministry said the 16th meeting of the expert appraisal committee are taking up these projects for consideration.

The AP project is the “proposed 5.0 MTPA integrated cement clinkerisation plant, 8.0 cement grinding unit,100MW captive power plant and 7.0MTPA captive limestone mine with mining lease of 997.08ha. At Gollapalli village, Mylavaram mandal of Kadapa(YSR) district, by M/s ACC Ltd.”

The Maharashtra project is the “proposed expansion project for manufacturing of Manganese Oxide and Proposed Product Mix in Existing Product at Plot No. C-235, MIDC Butibori, District Nagpur, of M/s D S Alloys Pvt Ltd.”
