On April 17, FIPB to discuss 8 investment proposals

Come April 17, the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) will take up for consideration eight investment proposals.

These include Vodafone Mobile Services, Panacea Publishing, bioMerieux lndia, Bluetown lndia, Ghel Rendev lndia and Baxter Healthcare.

Headed by Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das, FIPB plays a key role in promoting foreign investments in India. It acts as a bridge between the government and the investors.

In a meeting notice, the Union Finance Ministry said the FIPB meeting is scheduled to meet on April 17 and as many as 8 proposals are on the agenda.
