Nittsu Logistics opens warehouse in Sri City

Nippon Express Co Ltd’s wholly-owned subsidiary Nittsu Logistics (India) has opened its warehouse in Sri City.

The facility was inaugurated by Yasunori Takahashi, Managing Executive Officer, Regional General Manager of Nippon Express South Asia & Oceania, along with Seiji Baba, Consul-General of Japan in Chennai.

In a statement, Takahashi said while increasing their presence in India, they are aggressively developing business in South India.

He stated Sri City serves as an all-weather cross dock centre for various local manufacturing and engineering industries and those located around Chennai.

Seiji Baba said more Japanese manufacturing companies were preferring to set up business in Andhra Pradesh. Nittsu’s establishment in Sri City was timely.
