Hero Electronix steps into consumer space with Qubo, to invest Rs 150-200 crore

Hero Electronix is planning to invest Rs 150-200 crore over the next few years mainly in its new consumer tech brand ‘Qubo’ that will offer a portfolio of AI-powered connected smart devices.

A part of the Hero Group, the company has launched a voice-controlled smart indoor camera and smart sensors (for doors, gas leakage and smoke) under the ‘Qubo’ brand.

Speaking to PTI, Hero Electronix Founder Director Ujjwal Munjal said, “We want to take Qubo to a million homes in the next 3-5 years. We have been at the forefront of engineering technology and services for enterprise with Tessolve, Mybox, and Zenatix. We see a great opportunity in the consumer space for building products that can meaningfully impact our lives.”

He further said the company has already invested close to Rs 350 crore across these brands and plans to invest another Rs 150-200 crore crore over the next couple of years.
