Bosch to invest Rs 800 crore to develop its HQ

In a bid to upgrade its Bengaluru headquarters into a modern tech park, Bosch has decided to invest up to Rs 800 crore per annum in the next few years.

In the process, it is also planning to move out the manufacturing operation from the facility to a new location,

“If you look at the Bosch India story, in the last five years, we have been investing anywhere between Rs 650 crore to Rs 900 crore annually,” Bosch Ltd MD Soumitra Bhattacharya was quoted as saying by PTI.

The auto component major, which currently has a turnover of Rs 18,000 crore, provides employment to more than 30,000 people across 10 legal entities.
