Bids have been invited by the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation for detailed design consultant for foot over bridges (FOBs).
The FOBs will be developed connecting Sandal Soap Factory Metro Station to IISc with a connectivity to TTMC Yeshwanthpur and Yeshwanthpur Metro Station (paid area) to Yeshwanthpur Railway Station and Yeshwanthpur Metro Station (unpaid area) to eastern side of Yeshwanthpur Railway Station and parking facilities near Indiranagar Metro Station of Bangalore Metro Rail Project in Karnataka.
Namma Metro, also known as Bengaluru Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Bengaluru, India. It is the fourth longest operational metro network in India after the Delhi Metro, Hyderabad Metro and Chennai Metro.
It also contains the first underground metro line in South India. The metro network consists of two colour-coded lines, with a total length of 42.3 kilometres serving 40 stations. The system has a mix of underground, street level, and elevated stations using standard-gauge tracks.
