AMP Energy India is planning to commence construction of another 120 MWp open access solar project in Haryana.
This comes after construction started on Uttar Pradesh’s (UP’s) 120 MW open access solar power project last month.
A spokesperson of the clean energy producer was quoted as saying by saurenergy.com that the estimated investment on the project is expected to be Rs 400 crore and it will be one of the largest open access solar energy projects in Haryana.
Also, it had signed long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for the project for a period of 15-25 years. The state government of Haryana allocated the project to AMP Energy.
AMP Energy India, CEO, Pinaki Bhattacharyya said, “in our consistent endeavour to supply clean & affordable solar energy to our customers, we are setting up this 120 MW project in Haryana. We are thankful to the state for coming out with an innovative mechanism and support to make this happen.”
