As many as nine companies have expressed interest in the first tender for Pimpri-Chinchwad elevated stretch for Pune Metro Rail project. The cost is Rs 11,420 crore.
According to Brijesh Dixit, managing director of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha Metro), the first of the tenders for the project are out and these are for a 10.75-km elevated stretch from Pimpri Chinchwad to Range Hills.
The companies which have showed interest in the project are Larsen & Toubro, Afcons Infrastructure, IL&FS Engineering and Construction, Tata Projects, J Kumar Infra Projects, NCC, Soma Enterprises, IMC Projects India and ITD Cementation India.
Representatives of the above companies took part in the bidders’ meeting. The tender will open on March 30 and will adopt two packet system— technical and price.
