West Bengal Highway Development Corpn floats tender for 6-lane elevated connector

A tender has been floated by the West Bengal Highway Development Corporation for six-lane elevated connector in the state.

The work will entail an investment of Rs 556.17 crore with a completion period of 30 months.

The scope of work envisages construction of proposed six-lane elevated connector between Belghoria expressway and Kalyani expressway, including widening of Kalyani expressway to six-lane from Nimta to Muragacha (Phase-I, total length 4.565 km) in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal under EPC mode.

WBHDCL was incorporated in April 2012 under Companies Act 1956 as a wholly owned company of the Government of West Bengal under Public Works Department. WBHDCL has its registered office at Kolkata, West Bengal.
