Trident to expand yarn production capacity in Madhya Pradesh facility

Trident Limited has said that its board of directors has approved the expansion of yarn segment by the installation of 1,62,432 spindles & 3,600 Rotors including other balancing equipment to manufacture approx 48482 TPA of 100% cotton yarn at Budni, Madhya Pradesh.

The project is expected to begin commercial operations with effect from January 2021. As far as the mode of financing is concerned, external borrowings will be Rs 855 crore, while internal accruals will be Rs 285 crore.

According to the company, the proposed project shall help to strengthen the existing home textile units of the company and shall further increase the market presence.
