Ramky Enviro starts waste-to-energy plant in Delhi

Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd, through its subsidiary Delhi MSW Solutions Ltd (DMSWL), has commissioned waste-to-energy plant in Delhi.

The total investment is Rs 650-crorea and the capacity of the facility is 24 MW.

Speaking at the inaugural of the project, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said it is aligned to the spirit of the SwachhBharat Mission, the flagship project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chairman of Ramky Group, Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, said the commissioning of the waste-to-energy plant ushers in a new phase in the country’s waste management industry.

“The technology marks the beginning of a new era in urban waste management, more specifically for large municipal corporations”, he added.
