Rail Vikas Nigam floats tender for works in Dhanbad

Tender has been floated by Rail Vikas Nigam for rail works in Dhanbad division of East Central Railway in Jharkhand.

The scope of work envisages construction of roadbed, bridges, supply of ballast, installation of track installation of track (excluding supply of rails and track sleepers), electrical (general electrification), provision of OHE, signalling and telecommunication works in connection with third line from Tori (excluding) 185.30 km to Patratu (including) 120.83 km with a total length of 64.47 km in Dhanbad division of East Central Railway.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited is an organisation associated with Indian Railways whose task is to build engineering works required by the latter.

RVNL is a Special Purpose Vehicle created to undertake project development, mobilization of financial resources and implement projects pertaining to strengthening of Golden Quadrilateral and Port Connectivity.
