Proposals invited for water treatment plant in Kolkata

Kolkata Metropolitan Water & Sanitation Authority has sought bids for construction of a water treatment plant in West Bengal.

The scope of work includes design, construction, commissioning, trial run for three months, and operation & maintenance for 12 months, including supply of coagulants and disinfectants as required for a 10 MGD capacity water treatment plant with space saving technology, with treated water quality of less than one NTU, at Padmapukur, Howrah Municipal Corporation, under AMRUT (both civil and electro-mechanical work), on turnkey basis.

The project needs to be completed within a time frame of 18 months.
