Odisha Power Transmission Corpn floats tender for GIS grid substation

Tender has been floated by the Odisha Power Transmission Corporation for GIS grid substation at Khurda district.

The project will entail an investment of Rs 177.86 crore.

The scope of work involves engineering, supply, erection and commissioning of 2×160 MVA, 220/132 kV and 2×63 MVA 132/33 kV, 220/132/33 kV GIS grid substation at Balianta (Benupur) and associated 220 kV LILO O/H transmission line (LILO on the proposed 220 kV D/C line from Pratapsasan to Nuapada-Cuttack at Loc No 131-132 Bentapur) using monopole D/C towers (line length in approximately 12 km) & 132 kV O/H transmission line from Balianta GIS substation up to Gangua canal using 220 kV D/C monopole towers (line length in approximately eight km) in Khurda district of Odisha on turnkey basis.
