Carrying forward its business-friendly initiatives, the chief minister Naveen Patnaik-led government in Odisha has cleared 11 investment proposals worth Rs 2,000 crore.
The projects that got the clearance include an apparel park by Texport Industries at Ramdaspur in Cuttack (investment of Rs 75 crore), a pharmaceutical unit by Bharat Biotech at Andharua (Rs 51 crore) and milk processing unit by Milk Mantra at Gop in Puri (Rs 60 crore).
Also, a hospitality project by Hotel Banjara also got Odisha government’s nod. The plan to set up a hotel in Bhubaneswar with an investment of Rs 63 crore.
Chemical units by IDL Explosives at Barbil, Talcher and Jharsuguda, which will pump in Rs 51 crore have also been cleared, apart from projects by Grasim Industries (Rs 110 crore) and Jayashree Chemicals (Rs 100 crore).
