NHAI to construct expressways in multiple states

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is planning to take up new expressway construction project in multiple states.

The project involves construction of Delhi to Gurdaspur Greenfield Section of Delhi – Amritsar – Katra Expressway with length 397.043 km.

The project starts from Kundli Manesar Palwal Expressway (KMP) near village Jasaur Kheri in Jhajjar district of Haryana and ends at Gurdaspur Bypass at in Gurdaspur district of Punjab.

As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 174,960 million.
