The mining sector comprise mining and quarrying of coal and lignite, iron ores, metal ores, non-ferrous metal ores, limestone.

  • Rs.240 Million New Lignite Mining Project In Bhavnagar, Gujarat

GHCL is in the process of getting environment clearance for new lignite mining project in Khadsaliya, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The project involves drilling to establish Lignite deposit in this Lakhanka-Khadsaliya block. GHCL was allotted a captive Mining Lease for Lignite extending to 171.0 ha area with cost Rs.240 million.

  • Rs.3500 Million New Pipe Conveyor Projects In Bangalore, Karnataka

JSW Steel has announced to setup new pipe conveyor projects in Vijayanagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. The project involves setting up two pipe conveyors that will transport ore from the mines to its plant in Vijayanagar. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3500 million.

  • Rs.288 Million Coal Mine Expansion Project In Dhanbad, Jharkhand

Bharat Coking Coal the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish its coal mine expansion project in Gopinathdih, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The project involves expanding the mining capacity of Moonidih Coal Washery from 0.36 MTPA to 1.6 MTPA with investment of Rs.288.277 million.

  • Rs.671 Million New Dholipatti Limestone Mining Project In Dindigul, Tamil Nadu

Chettinad Cement Corporation is in the process of getting environment clearance for set up new Dholipatti limestone mining project in Villages Dholipatti, Palayam and Karikkali, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. The project involves mining of Dholipatti limestone with capacity 1.40 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.671.5 million.

  • Rs.221 Million Lime Stone Expansion Project In Krishna, Andhra Pradesh

The KCP (Lime stone mine) the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish its lime stone expansion project in Jaggaiahpet, Krishna, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves expanding the manufacturing capacity of lime stone from 2 Million TPA to 4.50 Million TPA with investment of Rs.221.1 million.

  • Rs.2216 Million Opencast Mining Expansion Project In Nagpur, Maharashtra

Western Coalfields has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish its opencast mining expansion project in Parseoni, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The project involves expanding the existing opencast mining to a capacity of 1 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2216.6 million.

  • Rs.348 Million New Core Hole Drilling Project In Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh

Essar Oil And Gas Exploration And Production (CBM Sohagpur Project) has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish new core hole drilling project in Sohagpur, Shahdol, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves core hole drillings for exploration of Coal Bed Methane (CBM) with investment of Rs.348.8 million.

  • Rs.4500 Million New Gold Mining Project In Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.

National Mineral Development Corporation has won the bid for new gold mining project in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves mining of Chigargunta-Bisanatham gold block located in Chittoor district has an area of 263.01 hectares and the resources are expected to be 1.83 million tonnes containing 5.15 grams of gold per tonne.

  • New Lime Stone Mining Project In Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh

Sree Jayajothi Cement (100% Subsidiary of M/s. My Home Industries Private Limited) has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish new lime stone mining project in Nandavaram and Venkatapuram Villages, Banaganapalli Mandal, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh . The project involves to establish lime stone mining with capacity 0.3 Million TPA with investment of Rs.56 million.

  • Rs.300 Million Gorumahisani Iron Ore Mines Expansion Project In Mayurbhanj, Orissa

Ghanashyam Misra and Sons is in the process of getting environment clearance for its Gorumahisani Iron Ore Mines expansion project in Mayurbhanj, Orissa. The project involves expansion of iron ores from 0.75 MTPA to 1.1 MTPA over an area 349.50 Ha at Kuleisila, Badamouda, Sanamouda, Sundhal, Balitangiri, Nodhabani and Gorumahisani R.F.,Tehsil-Rairangpur. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.300 million.

  • Rs.12000 Million Zawar Mines Expansion Project In Rajasthan

Hindustan Zinc has awarded a turnkey contract worth Rs.683 million to Mcnally Bharat Engineering for design & engineering, supply of equipment, civil & structural work, of debottlenecking and capacity expansion of existing lead zinc ore of benefication plant. The project involves increasing the capacity of the of both Lead-Zinc and Ore beneficiation will be increased from 1.5 MTPA to 4 MTPA. The project is estimated to cost Rs.12000 million.

  • Rs.25200 Million Dry Coke Expansion Project In Raigad, Maharashtra

Dolvi Coke Projects has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish its dry coke expansion project in Pen, Raigad, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing dry coke with capacity of 3 MTPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.25200 million. ♦
