In a bid to cut down the extra traffic in Delhi, Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi has inaugurated Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) western peripheral expressway.
Also, Modi has flagged off the 3.2 km-long Ballabhgarh-Mujesar Metro rail link, which is expected to be a great help for the people travelling from Delhi to Faridabad.
He also inaugurated the Rs 580 crore Metro link in Sultanpur village in the district. After Gurgaon, Faridabad and Bahadurgarh, Ballabhgarh becomes the fourth city in Haryana to get metro connectivity.
Modi tweeted: “Inaugurating key infra projects in Haryana, which will further ‘Ease of Living.'” A sum of Rs 6,400 crore has been spent on the expressway project and 3,846 acres of land was acquired at a cost of Rs 2,788 crore.
