MK Agrotech to invest Rs 350 crore in sunflower oil unit in AP

MK Agrotech Private Limited is planning to set up a 750 tonne a day capacity sunflower oil production facility in Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh.

The Karnataka-based company is planning to invest Rs 350-400 crore in the project.

MK Agrotech, which sells Sunpure brand of sunflower oil, is in advanced stage of setting up and commissioning a 750-tonne-a-day facility in Bengaluru with an investment of ₹350 crore.

Mallikarjun Peri, National Sales Head of MK Agrotech, has said: “It will be operational in the next few weeks. We are setting it up to take care of our expansion in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
