The Karnataka State Industries and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (KSIIDC) is planning to appoint two companies to give a fresh of life to the highly polluted and frothing Bellandur and Varthur lakes.
While one is the Bluewater Bio from the United Kingdom, the other is Tahal Group from Israel. KSIIDC is in talks with these two firms to take up the project to revitalize the waterbodies.
“We have held preliminary rounds of discussion with representatives of the two firms. The nitty-gritties will be discussed at a meeting scheduled next week,” said KSIIDC chairman C M Dhananjaya.
Both Bluewater and Tahal are experts in waterbody management and they will help the state government’s body in executing the projecct worth Rs 400 crore.
