KRIBHCO (Krishak Bharati Co-Op) will this month finalise the EPC contractor for its upcoming phosphatic fertilisers unit in Andhra Pradesh.
In joint venture with the Moroccan firm OCP, KRIBHCO has proposed to set up a phosphatic fertilisers unit at Survepally village, near Krishnapatnam Port in Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh.
The project will be awarded to the contractor on EPC basis. The fertilisers unit will have a capacity of 1.2 million tpa. The project will spread over 300 acre and will be implemented in two phases.
The project worth Rs 1,517 crore will also include liquid storage facility of 70,000 MT. In October 2016, KRIBHCO entered into a 50:50 joint venture with the Moroccan firm OCP to implement it.
