KEC bags Rs 1,807 crore worth orders from rail, power T&D

KEC International has announced winning orders worth Rs 1,807 crore across businesses.

In a statement, the RPG Enterprises company said the orders include railway jobs worth business Rs 1,303 crore for overhead electrification of railway lines and associated civil works, construction of road over bridges, roadbeds, major and minor bridges.

KEC International and its arm SAE Towers have also bagged orders worth Rs 283 crore for power transmission and distribution projects in India, East Asia Pacific and the Americas.

The company also won orders worth Rs 63 crore for civil and construction works in India, and orders worth Rs 157 crore for various types of cables and cabling projects.

Vimal Kejriwal, managing director and chief executive officer of the company, said, “The railway business continues to remain on a high growth trajectory. These large order wins further consolidate our leadership position in this sector.”
