Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) managing director NVS Reddy has said the JBS-MGBS Metro Rail stretch is expected to be opened for public by April 2019.
Reddy was quoted as saying by TOI that all the critical gaps on Corridor two of the Hyderabad Metro Rail-between JBS and Falaknuma are expected to be completed by March 2019.
Recently, Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao said the State government has targeted completion of 66.5 km of the proposed 72-km span of the Hyderabad Metro Rail project before the end of this year.
He said: “One corridor covering 30 km stretch had already been commissioned for commercial operations and the government is confident of completing the Jubilee Bus Station and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station stretch before August this year.”
