Ion Exchange bags Rs 439-crore worth order from Vedanta

In Exchange (India) has bagged a contract for engineering, procurement, supply and construction of water treatment plant worth Rs 438.84 crore.

In a communication to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company said it has received the order from Cairn Oil & Gas, a division of Vedanta.

Shareholders will closely monitor the execution of the project. For the quarter ended June 2018, Ion Exchange had posted a net profit of Rs 10.90 crore (Rs 7.29 crore during the year-ago period) and revenues of Rs 205.55 crore (Rs 208.05 crore).

“The company has secured and signed a contract for Engineering, Procurement, Supply and Construction of Water Treatment plant worth Rs 438.84cr (inclusive of GST) from Cairn Oil & Gas, a division of Vedanta,” it said.
