Ginger, the hotel brand of Tata Group, has opened a 98-room hotel in Dwarka, Gujarat, taking its count to 7 hotels across the state.
According to Ginger Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Deepika Rao, “The hotel complements Ginger’s growth strategy of building presence in key religious destinations in India.”
Thanks to this new addition, The Indian Hotels Company, part of the Tata Group, will have 15 hotels across its brands in the state of Gujarat.
Ginger Hotels is the largest chain of branded hotels and the pioneer of budget hotel space in India. Launched in June 2004, Ginger hotels has 42 properties panned across 31 locations in India.
Its investors are Indian Hotel Company Ltd and Tata Capital. The concept was developed by Indian Hotels Company Ltd in association with legendary corporate strategy thinker, late Dr C K Prahalad.
