CAM signs pact for Ayushman Bharat

Charutar Arogya Mandal (CAM) has signed an agreement with National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) of the State Health Society, Gujarat for providing technical support for the ambitious Ayushman Bharat Scheme in Dahod district.

So far, only four institutes have been picked by the Centre for providing technical support for the programme. The other institutes are AIIMS, New Delhi, Jan Swasthya Sahyog, Bilaspur and Catholic Health Association of India, Telangana.

CAM’s chief executive officer Sandeep Desai, extension programme head Dr Shyamsundar Raithatha and mission director of National Health Mission, Gujarat Dr Gaurav Dahilya were present when the pact was signed.

Ayushman Bharat programme, claimed to be the world’s largest funded government health project, will provide comprehensive healthcare, including non-communicable diseases, communicable diseases and maternal and child health services.
