BHEL wins Rs 2,900 crore worth orders from NTPC

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced securing four orders valued at about Rs 2,900 crore for supply of emission control equipments from NTPC.

In a filing to the BSE, the state-run company said these orders involve supply and installation of flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) systems for control of (Sulphur Oxides (SOx) emissions at NTPC’s North Karanpura, Mauda Stage-I, Barh Stage-I and Stage-II power projects.

In total, BHEL has contracted FGD orders for 32 units from various customers till date, it said further.

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited owned and founded by the Government of India, is an engineering and manufacturing company based in New Delhi, India. Established in 1964, BHEL is India’s largest power generation equipment manufacturer.
