Andhra Pradesh Airport Development Corporation Limited has invited request for proposals (RFPs) for development, operations and maintenance of the Bhogapuram greenfield airport project.
A special purpose vehicle set up by the government, APADCL is planning to finalise the developer by the year end. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for August 6.
Speaking to BusinessLine, Ajay Jain, Principal Secretary, Industries, Andhra Pradesh, said, “The scope of the project has been expanded and we expect to close the process and select the developer by the year end.”
August 24 has been set as the last date by the corporation for submission of RFPs. The applicant can be a single entity or a group company but need to have a net worth of Rs 590 crore.
