Airports Authority invites bids for integrated terminal at Vijayawada

Bids have been invited by Airports Authority of India for construction of new integrated terminal building and associated works including maintenance, operation and AICMC at Vijayawada Airport in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 438.63 crore, and the completion period is 24 months. Currently, AAI manages 125 airports, including 11 international aerodromes and is adding 273 parking bays at 24 airports.

The slots are evenly distributed across the country – with about 82 in the south, 70 in the east and northeast, 61 in the north and 60 in the western parts of the country.
