Aaryans to set up 1200 MW solar thermal power plant in Maharashtra

Aaryans Group is stepping into green energy segment by setting up a Solar Thermal Power Plant at Taluka Malshiras, District Solapur in Maharashtra.

Smita Shitole, Managing Director of the group made an announcement to this effect at a press conference in Pune recently.

Manohar Jagtap, Group CEO, said, “This first of its kind Solar Thermal Power Plant in the state shall be set up by our group company Kanishka Enterprises Private Limited and its development shall be spread across three different phases.”

“When all the three phases become operational the plant would have the capacity to generate 1200 megawatts of solar power. Work for the 1st phase shall begin in the month of October this year and is likely to get completed within a year,” he added.
