10 mega investments proposed for Telangana in February

The Telangana government, which is aggressive in attracting investments towards the newly found state, has managed to achieve 10 mega projects in February alone.

Topping the list is a transformer repairing and manufacturing facility of Transcon Industries, which is proposed at a cost of Rs 537000 crore.

While SurajKiran Solar Technologies will come up with a plant worth Rs 318.25 crore, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd will build and construct a project in more than 20,000 sq m built up area, at a cost of Rs 355 crore.

Piramal Enterprises has proposed Rs 493 crore worth manufacturing facility, ITC Ltd a pulp and paper manufacturing plant at a cost of Rs 479.30 crore, SunShakti Solar a solar power generation plant at 318.25 crore and SE Solar Ltd a facility worth Rs 262.87 crore.

Transform Sun Energy Private Limited has proposed two projects, one at Rs 258 crore and the other at a cost of Rs 410 crore. Mytrah Agriya has sought nod for a solar power generation plant worth Rs 386.50 crore.
